Visitors to the Wildlife Feeders

As the heat of summer goes on with very little rain we have been making sure the wildlife water troughs stay working and that we have kept corn, bird seed and protein pellets in the feeders for the wildlife.  Many are having a hard time making a living in this drought and heat.  The supplemental water and feed seem to have made a big difference in the numbers we have been seeing this year.  Last summer we found a lot of dead deer and other wildlife and this year so far only one deer and one fox that appear to have died from the drought.  My brother and I have become addicted to the game camera pictures and get impatient waiting to see the visitors we have had to our feeders each week.  The really cool thing is you never know what will show up on camera.  I thought you guys might enjoy seeing some of the wildlife from our part of the world in Lampasas County.  If you have some unique or unusual wildlife camera pictures email them to me and I will post some of the best ones in the future, Wild Ed

Looks like you may need coon guards on the legs of your feeder. Nice pics and a very nice buck.
