Crossbows Now Legal in Texas Archery Season





Crossbows are now legal archery equipment for the Texas archery season. The law is completed and has been signed by Governor Perry.




It is now up to Texas Parks and Wildlife to come up with the regulations such as scope or no scope, minimum poundage and other issues by September 1st, 2009.

It's about time folks quit treating the crossbow as a tool of the devil. It is an ancient device with a few modern twists; it is hardly something that will lead to an extinction of a species.

They all were acting the same when compound bows first came out as well!
